Paphos is to be the place for a huge new industrial park

A local Cypriot newspaper, 'Phileleftheros', has recently reported on an enormous future project planned for Paphos.

Reportedly, Chinese Investors are planning to build an industrial park in Paphos with the Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) confirming that the project is underway, starting with the search for land. They plan to purchase 120,000m2 of land to accommodate offices, light industry firms, storage facilities and an exhibition centre, which will amount to a huge commercial complex based just outside of Paphos.

According to PCCI chief Andreas Demetriades, the complex will be “an international commercial centre to promote and assemble products from abroad that will be imported from China and then sold to other EU countries.” Other development officials in Paphos are also confident that the new complex will attract new business by providing a fully-integrated infrastructure all in one location.
